Sea-X, plastic waste detection at high altitudes
Dec 2022 to Aug 2024, funded by the French EmbassyDetecting plastic waste on rivers from drone images. I split large aerial images into annotated tiles, fine tuned YOLOv5 to detect 3 types of plastic waste and used drones for data collection and testing.
